The picture above is of my wife Petra and I. We are a family that is about God first and then work and play hard. My back ground goes back to being raised in an aviation family. I grew up with my father rebuilding and flying several types of general aviation aircraft. My dad is the type of father that involves his kids in what he is into, so from a very young age I was at the airport or along ferrying aircraft to Alaska. I purchased my first aircraft at 15, that I soloed in on my 16th birthday. I finished A/P school at 18 years old and started an Aircraft maintenance and sales business at 19. To date I have over 16,000 flight hours with over 3,000 in tailwheel type aircraft. I hold an A/P-IA, ATP, CFI-MEI, Glider, Seaplane and CFI/Instrument helicopter ratings.
